Chamen Technical Training Institute, formerly Chamen Electrical Training Centre was established in 1990. The Institute is located in Latrikunda Sabiji in West Coast Region. It is a private institute and specialise in electrical, solar and satellite installation training programmes. The centre started by offering training on part-time basis preparing students who enrol for City and Guilds Examination. The centre started operating on full-time in 1997 offering electrical installation system. Since its establishment, the centre has trained over 2000 Gambians in Electrical and electronic vocations.
